When it comes to aftermarket intercoolers, you won’t see many with tube-and-fin cores, often seen in standard models. Lighter weight and lower production costs are two advantages of these coolers.
Tube-and-fin cores are the most common choice for aftermarket coolers because of their ability to dissipate heat and their tendency to cause heat soak.
